ABOUT US

Our objective is to create and develop a fundamental web environment which, to the extent possible, would be home for every published and unpublished material related to Armenia and the Armenians on a variety of topics, including literature, history, art, philosophy, religion, etc.

This website aims at making the materials and information available to numerous Armenology centers, universities, schools and other educational and scientific research institutions worldwide, which are involved in studying and analyzing ethnographical and anthropological issues, the social and economical situation of Armenia and the Armenians during various time periods, crisis and war situations, etc.

We have undertaken the implementation of this huge and challenging work proceeding from the fact that the Armenians, being one of the oldest nations of the world with rich cultural values, currently need an appropriate cultural policy to present those values to the world and, why not, to become a key player in the world's cultural heritage. Thus, this initiation and implementation of this work became our mission.

Last, but not least, if you wish, you can contribute to this work and to the improvement of this environment with your information on materials that have hardly survived deportations and massacres, that have been spread all over the world and found their place in various libraries and collections.

The visitors of our website can either be Users or Members. It should be noted that only Members' accounts are paid, and the proceeds from membership fees are directed towards the global development of the website, including the enhancement of the bibliography it contains, improving its functionality and user-friendliness, etc.
